Sydney Glass Island has a highly experienced team that will work with you to create your event. Your personal event coordinator be assigned to your function, ensuring that all your ideas and requirements are a realised.
During your cruise there will be a designated Cruise Director, who will cater for all your queries and requirements, please do not hesitate to ask.
The main area, as part of our standard corporate event package includes white linen tablecloths, crockery, silver cutlery, and two medium sized floral arrangements on podiums, tea lights and candelabras with ivy. Additional requirements are available in many styles, themes and varieties as an extra and the team at Sydney Glass Island is available to help your create your own bespoke presentation.
You can arrange your own decorations subject to certain conditions, which can be outlined by your event co-ordinator. Standard tables accommodate 8 to 12 guests.
The standard cruise package includes 4 hour cruise duration, including Vessel Hire with a cordless PA and sound system, thermal heating or air-conditioning depending on the season. The Sydney Glass Island can collect your guests from most public wharves on Sydney Harbour. Your event co-ordinator can give you a list of all Sydney Wharf’s.
Offering a fully fitted commercial kitchen, food is freshly prepared on board by our on-board Chef & galley team and we pride ourselves on providing food of the highest quality and plentiful quantity. Our menu selection is tailored to appeal to all different types of cuisine; budgets, cultural and religious beliefs. We cater for Kosher, Indian, Halal and Asian inspired cruise on request, on a full function basis.

As a premium quality venue we pride ourselves on the choice of wines. If you have a preferred wine please advise your event co-ordinator and they will advise on availability and cost. Due to liquor license laws and as a policy of the Sydney Glass Island we do not allow clients to bring, supply or sell alcohol on board the vessel. Beverage selections are as per the options offered in the rate schedule.
The Sydney Glass Island caters for from 75 to 350 guests depending on the style of function, formal or informal. Final guest numbers must be specified 15 days prior to the charter.

Music & Entertainment
We can arrange your selection on application or we can arrange for music supplied by you to be played.
We have a number of entertainment options available. Should you choose to arrange your own entertainment option we recommend, the entertainment organise an on-site inspection of the vessel at least two weeks prior to the charter, to check out layout, available space, change rooms, lighting, acoustics, loading point, pick-up and discharge points and times.
From experience, we recommend most functions have DJ music. Even if you have a band playing, DJ music provides continuous atmosphere between sets and can be tailored to suit the mood of your occasion.
